A deep bodied glider with super belly flash. Work it gentle and you have a flashy walk the dog glide, hit it hard and it's anyone's guess, especially the pike. A steady rhythm and a following fish, a good whack of the rod tip, is all it takes to make that pike attack. Finished with multiple coats of envirotex for a bulletproof finish and furnished with stainless hardware and splitrings, Mustad 3/0 trebles. 2 second to 1 foot sink as standard.

When the weather is warm and the pike on the prowl, the most exciting way to catch them is with a surface lure. The Creeping Critter offers a large profile, noisey lure pike cannot miss. As you crank the lure back the lure slowly wobbles from side to side, emitting a loud distinctive plop plop plop sound, provided by the stainless steel arms. Poor hook ups were part and parcel of surface lure fishing, but thanks to the specially contoured body this is a thing of the past. Also a very good lure for trolling. Despite it's size, the Razorback is a remarkably easy to use glider. A simple tap of the rod tip will make the lure glide along a 90 degree arc, rocking and flashing it's sides throughout. Working the lure hard will result in it performing a 180. A little different to the rest of the range, this lure is really a pull bait. A long steady sweep of the rod, results in the little boy diving down, with a seductive wiggle, from a floating position. While you retrieve the slack the lure will rise slowly back up to the top. The little boy can also be worked like a crank bait, either cast or trolled. Finished with multiple coats of envirotex for a bulletproof finish and furnished with stainless hardware and splitrings, eagles claw 3/0 trebles.

For those requiring a slightly smaller lure, but still with a good glide, the Fat Man should fit the bill. Twitches with pauses, a steady grank or a sweep of the rod will get this bait gliding with a slight wobble on the pause.
